Melasma and Pigmentary Conditions
Melasma and pigmentation issues are common skin concerns characterized by dark, discoloured patches on the skin, often caused by sun exposure, hormonal changes, or genetic factors. One effective treatment for these conditions is the combination of microneedling and radiofrequency. Microneedling involves the use of tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production and enhancing skin texture. When combined with radiofrequency, which delivers controlled heat to the deeper layers of the skin, this treatment can significantly reduce pigmentation and improve overall skin tone. This synergistic approach promotes more even skin pigmentation and rejuvenation, offering a minimally invasive solution with minimal downtime and promising results.
Depending on the condition and its severity, medical-grade skincare and other medications (oral and/or topical) may also be prescribed.
